History student at the University of York. Gamer, writer, reader, and artist.

Has dreams of being a published author but hasn't finished writing anything in years.

Spends an awful lot of time reading YA sci-fi and fantasy, and draws lots of fanart for it.

Thanks for looking at my page! Commission info is over here, if you're interested :)

Teren Santoro by littleschemer
Teren Santoro
Teren from The Young Elites by Marie Lu.

I probably messed up the foreshortening on his arms because I always do, but I’ve spent way too long on this already for what was meant to be a quick picture. I just love drawing plate armour so much, especially in this colour scheme - as soon as Teren showed up in the book, I knew I’d end up drawing him.

The Reaper by littleschemer
The Reaper
Enzo from The Young Elites by Marie Lu.

These characters are so much fun to draw - this series contains so many opportunities for ridiculous fantasy armour, it's great.

I'm normally not great with contrasting colour schemes, but I think I got it to work here, so yay. Really happy with how this sketchier style is working out, I can finish pictures so much faster like this :)

A Watchful Eye by littleschemer
A Watchful Eye
Commission for nolliemarie of her character, Ayla :) This was so much fun to work on, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

The White Wolf by littleschemer
The White Wolf
Adelina from The Young Elites by Marie Lu.

I can't believe it took me this long to read The Young Elites - it's dark YA fantasy with potential for ridiculous Assassin's Creed-esque costumes, of course I loved it. So here's an Adelina. Because she's awesome.

Experimenting with keeping my lines sketchy and my shading rough - it really speeds up finishing something like this, and I don't think the drop in quality is really that noticeable.

A Midsummer Night's Murder - Unseelie Court by littleschemer
A Midsummer Night's Murder - Unseelie Court
Spent last weekend at a game jam, making a game in 48 hours, trying very hard to not go insane while drawing lots of pictures with very little sleep. Our game was "A Midsummer Night's Murder" - a procedurally generated murder mystery set in the court of the fairy queen - and we actually got it finished on time (and won best art)! It's available as a free download over here - globalgamejam.org/2015/games/m… - and you should totally check it out if you want something to distract you for twenty minutes.

This is half of the character art I managed to produce in the weekend - the unseelie characters of the court :)

Oh man, I just realized I've seen your work all over Leigh Bardguo's Tumblr! And you've drawn Kaladin Stormborn. *o* Haha, just looking at your work - I was totally planning on reading Throne of Glass next.

Thank you for favoriting a piece from my Kickstarter! kck.st/1sLzDZm

It’s an 300+ page art book about a shapeshifter convict and a bankrupt princess unraveling the link between magic and science. I’ve been working on it for five years and now the project is ending in a few days!  I’m really grateful for everyone’s contributions and support like your faves (especially to people who’ve been following me from the conception of this project)! So thank you! :D (Big Grin)

Thanks! I love your Grisha art as well, by the way - your style is absolutely gorgeous and fits the series so well. Throne of Glass is great, I totally recommend reading the series. The first book's good, but it gets awesome in the sequels :)

I can't believe I almost missed your Kickstarter! I really love your art and the stories sound great as well, so I just backed you and can't wait to see the finished book!

Anyway, I love your art! (: Especially the drawing of Howel. Just like imagined him to look.

Hey :)
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like it, I was wondering what people who'd read the fic would think of the picture. I was going to draw the rest of the characters, but I kind of got distracted...
Thanks for all of your reviews on the fic, btw :)
